Headteacher’s Welcome
My name is Kate Baskeyfield, the Headteacher of Kingsway Primary School. I am delighted that you have taken the time to learn more about our school as I am so proud of our wonderful children and staff. Every day, I feel privileged to be the Headteacher here.
Kingsway is a vibrant and thriving school family where every child is welcomed, loved and respected as part of our school family. As a small, one-form entry primary school, we pride ourselves on knowing every child individually and forming meaningful relationships with our children.
We believe that education matters and changes lives. We empower our children to make a difference in their own lives, the life of their community, and in our world. At Kingsway Primary School, we provide our children with a values-based education that ensures that our pupils thrive from the moment they arrive.
Our success comes from high academic expectations and our commitment to providing our children with the widest possible educational experience. We call this the "Kingsway Way". Our children enjoy learning to play musical instruments, participating in lessons within our wonderful school grounds, and playing a wide variety of sports both individually and as a team. We believe in actively promoting positive well-being alongside nurturing academic potential.
