Well Done Assembly- Friday Mornings
All parents welcome
At 9.00am each Friday we hold our ‘Well Done’ assembly in which we celebrate all the children’s excellent work, in all areas of the curriculum. The children come out to the front of the hall to explain what they have been learning and receive certificates that show a Growth Mindset.
The staff award certificates for behaviour and attitude, for achievement and for effort. Teachers explain to everyone why they have awarded the certificates and the children are very proud to accept them.
Parents are encouraged to attend and have always been proud to be part of our team at Kingsway.
Breakfast Club
Our Breakfast Club is open from 8 a.m. each morning and is run by our Teaching Assistants in the mobile classroom. Children are provided with a choice of cereal and/or toast and a drink. This is a very popular club and if you would like this facility (and places are available) please see Mrs Townsend for an application pack.
The children are supervised by our wonderful Teaching Assistants. Food Hygiene Certificates are held and after breakfast the children enjoy playing with table top games and socialising with each other. At 8.40 a.m. children are brought over to main school in order to join in with Wake Up and Shake Up in the hall.
After School Club
We are very happy to let you know that we now are able to provide full wrap-around care through our introduction of our New After School Club.
Two members of staff run the club and it has already proved a 'hit' with the children who attend. Lots of fun activities are planned for each session and snacks are provided. As the club expands it is important that you contact the school office and collect a pack from Mrs Townsend to register.
Have fun!
