Academisation Consultation

KIngsway Primary and Nursery School is considering conversion to an academy and joining Inspiring Learners Trust. The initial stages of the process include consideration of this question by the regional Advisory Board of the Department for Education (DfE).  We are pleased to say that our initial proposal was approved by the Advisory Board.  This has enabled us to move to the next stage of the process, which involves a stakeholder consultation with the Kingsway Family including parents and carers (plus other stakeholders). The stakeholder consultation period will run for five weeks from Thursday 12th September to Thursday 17th October 2024.

As the stakeholder consultation progresses, useful information will be added to this page alongside letters shared with the school community. A dedicated email address has been established for members of the Kingsway Family to use to ask questions or share their thoughts. This email address is [email protected]
