Pinsent Masons Solicitors

The school has very strong links with Pinsent Masons, Solicitors and we are very grateful for all their support. Each year Pinsent Masons host a World of Work day for our Year 6 children, where they find out about lots of different jobs, have a tour of the offices and a very nice lunch! They also organise a tournament at Lord’s cricket ground each year and pay for our cricket team to travel down to take part.

Volunteers from Pinsent Masons come to school each week on a Tuesday to hear children read and on a Wednesday to play maths games with children in Key Stages 1 and 2. They have purchased new maths games for the children. Volunteers have taken part in team challenges to clear the grounds in order for the children to plant new trees and to access the woodland walk. Two of our governors are solicitors from Pinsent Masons.

The school also has links with Intergen, a group of retired people who come into school on a weekly basis to hear children read. This enables children to have extra quality time reading and discussing their books with an adult and has proved to be very beneficial. We are very grateful for the support from Intergen.

In accordance with our safeguarding procedures all volunteers are subject to an enhanced DBS check.
