RETURN TO YEAR 3 HOME PAGE

Homework:

Children will recieve weekly homework on Friday afternoon, this will be due in on Wednesday morning. 

Your child's homework will consist of THEME homework related to our half termly topic and a piece of Maths/English (alternated) homework. 

PE:

PE DAYS TO BE CONFIRMED IN SEPTEMBER.

Please ensure your child has their PE kits in every day to allow for timetable changes or extra sporting activities. 

Reading:

Children should bring their reading book and record home each night. All children have a comprehension question bookmark. Please try to read at home with your child as often as possible and choose one or two questions to ask them. Regular practice will improve their fluency and understanding. Please remember to sign and date your child's reading record so they can be rewarded.

Spellings:

Each week, children will be given their spellings and complete a pre-test on Monday. They should learn these spellings throughout the week and will be tested on Friday.
